1. Download and unzip the file. You will find a 'lib' folder.
2. Create a new Flutter project, and replace the lib folder with the downloaded one.
3. Add packages. Open the terminal in your project and enter this line:flutter pub add firebase_core firebase_auth cloud_firestore provider
4. This will add 4 important packages to your pubspec.yaml file. In this file, scroll down and enable the assets to use the nice icons and images!

   

5. Go to Firebase https://console.firebase.google.com/ and create a new project.
6. If you haven’t already installed the Firebase CLI, do by typing this into the command line/terminal:npm install -g firebase-tools
7. Make sure you are logged into the correct account you used for Firebase by typing this into the command line/terminal:firebase login
8. Then type:flutter pub global activate flutterfire_cli
9. Once the flutterfire CLI is activated, type:flutterfire configure
10. You should be able to see your Firebase projects here. Choose the one you created. If you go back to your Firebase console and refresh the page, you should see that you Flutter app is now connected to Firebase.
11. Enable Authentication (email/pw) and Cloud Firestore (make sure to set the rules to true so that you can read and write data).
